READ ME File For 'Data supporting PhD thesis "On the dynamics of ballistic exciton-polariton condensates"' Dataset DOI: https://doi.org/10.5258/SOTON/D3558 ReadMe Author: Denis Aristov, University of Southampton ORCID ID: 0000-0002-3129-9485 This dataset supports the thesis entitled "On the dynamics of ballistic exciton-polariton condensates" AWARDED BY: Univeristy of Southampton DATE OF AWARD: 2025 DESCRIPTION OF THE DATA Data, presented in this dataset, is processed data, divieded upon corresponding to thesis Chapters. Each Chapter contains data, necessary to recreate and verify all the figures. Each folder, named Figure, contains all infornation, required to create correesponding figure. Three different pieces of software were used to create figures and process the data: 1) MATLAB is used to open files with extension ".m". Folders with MATLAB programs sometimes are supported with data without any format - images produced by various cameras. In order to desypher unspecified data files, run MATLAB program in the same folder. In case, if separate software is to be used to open these files, refer to first section of MATLAB ".m" files, where you will see instructions on opening each corresponding data file. It would be either "'uint16','b'" or "-ascii2". 2) ORIGIN is used to open files with ".opju" extension. Those files do not require any external source and has data inside them in form of tables and plots. 3) CorelDraw is used to create schematics for images, where files with ".cdr" extensions are present.
