DESCRIPTION OF THE DATA
This anonymised dataset contains responses from individuals in both clinical and non-clinical groups
who completed the following self-report psychological measures:
- D-ISS (Dissociation-Integration of Self-States Scale)
- DES-II (Dissociative Experiences Scale - II)
- WDS (Wessex Dissociation Scale)
- CORE-OM (Clinical Outcomes in Routine Evaluation - Outcome Measure)

The dataset also includes demographic and mental health information, such as:
- Age, gender, ethnicity
- Primary mental health diagnosis
- Previous and current psychological treatment status
- Presence of neurodevelopmental diagnoses

How data was collected:
Participants were recruited through clinical services and the community. The measures were
administered online using Qualtrics. Ethical approval was granted by the University of Southampton
(ERGO ID: 90495) and NHS IRAS (IRAS ID: 335221). Participants provided informed consent, and
data were fully anonymised before analysis and storage

File format and software required:
- File: D-ISS_Clinical_and_Non-clinical_Dataset.sav
- Format: SPSS (.sav)
- Software required: IBM SPSS Statistics (or any software capable of reading .sav files, such as R
with haven package, or PSPP)

- ID and demographic variables (e.g. Age, Gender, Ethnicity)
- DES_Q01 to DES_Q28 (DES-II items), Mean_DES
- DISS_Q01 to DISS_Q25 (D-ISS items), Total_DISS
- WDS_Q01 to WDS_Q40 (WDS items), Total_WDS, Mean_WDS
- CORE_Q01 to CORE_Q34 (CORE-OM items), Total_CORE
- SampleGroup (clinical vs non-clinical group membership)
