READ ME File For: Validation of the Dissociation-Integration of Self-States Scale (D-ISS) Anonymised Dataset Dataset DOI: https://doi.org/10.5258/SOTON/D3490 ReadMe Author: Jamie Barton, University of Southampton ORCID ID: https://orcid.org/0009-0000-2756-279X This dataset supports the thesis entitled: Dissociation, self-states and social anxiety: relationships and measurement AWARDED BY: Univeristy of Southampton DATE OF AWARD: 2025 DESCRIPTION OF THE DATA This anonymised dataset contains responses from individuals in both clinical and non-clinical groups who completed the following self-report psychological measures: - D-ISS (Dissociation-Integration of Self-States Scale) - DES-II (Dissociative Experiences Scale - II) - WDS (Wessex Dissociation Scale) - CORE-OM (Clinical Outcomes in Routine Evaluation - Outcome Measure) The dataset also includes demographic and mental health information, such as: - Age, gender, ethnicity - Primary mental health diagnosis - Previous and current psychological treatment status - Presence of neurodevelopmental diagnoses How data was collected: Participants were recruited through clinical services and the community. The measures were administered online using Qualtrics. Ethical approval was granted by the University of Southampton (ERGO ID: 90495) and NHS IRAS (IRAS ID: 335221).
