The data is qualitative interview transcripts that require no specialist softeware to view. Data was collected through semi-structured interviews, with dyads asking each other questions about their experiences together of going through the gender disclosure process. Dyads were made up of a transgender or gender-diverse person and a chosen ally (friend, family member and/or work colleague). The questions were given to participants in the form of wonder bundles, seeking to explore their shared experience of the gender disclosure process, before, during and after. Interviews lasted between an hour and an hour and a half and were auto-transcribed by Teams, before being checked by the lead reasearcher. The audio and video were deleted after the transcripts were checked and fully anonymised.
