History can be leveraged as a strategic asset. Valuable corporate histories resonate with broader social values and audiences. Organizations use powerful ideographs - linguistic rhetorical devices - to connect their rhetorical histories to broader national and social values. We demonstrate how Fortune 500 companies do this through their rhetorical histories.
