It also serves as a guide for researchers, suggesting principles for meaningful and respectful involvement of people from communities. The resource is most effective when used alongside a facilitated community engagement and involvement activity. In these settings, researchers, who have been supported to engage in conversations, can use the resource to help sustain ongoing involvement with community members beyond the initial activity, in ways that are aligned with community members preferences.
