HORIZONS: Understanding the Impact of Cancer Diagnosis and Treatment on Everyday Life: Final Report October 2022
This is the final report from the HORIZONS Programme, examining the long-term impact of cancer diagnosis and treatment on the everyday life of participants. The programme included three cohorts: breast cancer patients diagnosed <50 years of age, Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma patients, and gynaecological cancer patients. Analysis of HORIZONS data focused on five core areas, understanding the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, quality of life in women with gynaecological cancers, social networks of younger women with breast cancer, quality of like before treatment and follow up 3 months after treatment, and qualitative experiences of people accessing support services.
