Network achievements. Muscle resilience across the life course: from cells to society.
MyAge is a collaborative network of researchers from across the UK, with international links, interested in the effects of muscle ageing, and how to help people live healthier lives, throughout the life course. Funded by the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council and the Medical Research Council, the network is one of eleven UK Ageing Networks tasked a) to take a more holistic approach to healthy ageing research and b) deliver better understanding of the biological mechanisms of ageing and of how to increase healthy lifespan. This final report summarises the achievements of three years of network activity and is intended for a general audience.
