Chapter 2 Influence of peatland plant functional types on prokaryotic communities across microhabitat
This dataset contains raw and processed 16S rRNA gene sequencing data from peat soil samples collected across contrasting plant functional types and microhabitats in northern Sweden. The data were generated to investigate how plant community composition and microhabitat conditions (hummocks, lawns, hollows) influence prokaryotic (bacterial and archaeal) community structure and diversity. The dataset includes raw sequence files, associated sample metadata, processed ASV tables, and taxonomy assignments supporting Chapter 2 of the PhD thesis "Role of Plant-Microbe Interaction for C Dynamic in Northern Peat Bogs".
