JOURNAL: PAPER DOI IF KNOWN: This dataset contains all the raw interview and photographic data that underpin the article plus the participant information sheets and consent forms used in the recruitment process. The dataset contais 4 folders: 1)'Blank consent forms' contains uncompleted versions of the four consent forms (patient, informal caregiver, primary care professional and older persons mental health practitioner). 2)'Participant information sheets' contains the four participant information sheets (patient, informal caregiver, primary care professional and older persons mental health practitioner). 3)'Interview transcripts' contains all the raw interview data that underpin the results, divided into three sub-folders: a) People with dementia or MCI interview transcripts (nine transcripts) b) Informal caregiver interview transcripts (nine transcripts) c) Primary care and older persons mental health professional interview transcripts (sixteen transcripts) 4) 'Photographs' contains participant photographs that did not contain potentially identifying features, subdivided into six sub-folders, based on analysis categories that underpin the results. a) Photographs categorised as administration aids (sixteen photographs) b) Photographs categorised as reminders (five photographs) c) Photographs categorised as routines (twenty one photographs) d) Photographs categorised as multiple medications (nine photographs) e) Photographs categorised as carer management (thirteen photographs) f) Photographs categorised as quality of life (two photographs) All photographs are labelled with the participant ID and the number allocated to the photo for that participant. Description of methods used for collection/generation of data: Interview transcipts are from audio recorded qualiative interviews, undertaken in-person for patients and informal caregivers and via Microsoft Teams for professionals. Interview topic guides are available alongside the publication. Nicola Andrews interviewed all patient and informal caregiver participants. Cindy Brooks interviewed all professional participants. Kinda Ibrahim contributed to data analysis including categorisation of photographs. Photographs were taken by patients and informal caregivers of their day-to-day medication management, in advance of the interview and informed the interview discussion.
