READ ME file for "Dataset for: Temporal Pulse Origins in Atom Interferometric Quantum Sensors" Authors: Jack Saywell, Nikolaos Dedes, Max Carey, Brynle Barrett, and Tim Freegarde This dataset supports the publication: AUTHORS: Jack Saywell, Nikolaos Dedes, Max Carey, Brynle Barrett, and Tim Freegarde TITLE: Temporal Pulse Origins in Atom Interferometric Quantum Sensors LICENSE: CC BY DOI: https://doi.org/10.5258/SOTON/D3788 DESCRIPTION OF THE DATA This dataset contains the optimized pulses created for the publication Temporal Pulse Origins in Atom Interferometric Quantum Sensors. These pulses are designed to act as “beamsplitters” in matter-wave interferometers. They were optimized using the NMR spin-dynamics toolkit SPINACH. Each pulse waveform is stored as a .mat file. This dataset contains: "beamsplitter_area_v_fid_grad_studyA" - a folder containing waveforms for optimized-origin beamsplitter pulses with durations that are integer multiples of a rectangular PI pulse. "beamsplitter_area_v_fid_grad_studyA" - a folder containing waveforms for optimized-origin beamsplitter pulses with durations that are half-integer multiples of a rectangular PI pulse. "load_optimized_pulses.ipynb" - a Jupyter Notebook containing Python code which shows how to read-in optimized pulse shapes and view the optimization parameters.
