Dataset in support of the thesis: 'Discovery and target identification of SICLOPPS-derived antibacterial cyclic peptides'
This dataset contains: 1. Plasmids maps for plasmids described in the thesis; 2. Sanger sequencing data for plasmid quality control; 3. Next-generation sequencing data for the SICLOPPS library screen described in the thesis; 4. Images of assays conducted in a Petri dish format; 5. Data for assays conducted in a 96-well plate format using a plate reader; 6. Scanning electron micrographs of cell morphology assays; 7. Data for microscale thermophoresis assays to assess compound binding. Plasmid maps were created using SnapGene Viewer. Sanger sequencing data was collected using the Eurofins Genomics Mix2Seq service for sequencing of DNA regions of interest in plasmids for quality control purposes. Next-generation sequencing data was collected using the Oxford Nanopore Technologies MinION sequencer for analysis of SICLOPPS library screening. Images of various Petri dish format assays were collected using a scanner. Data for various 96-well plate format assays were collected using the BMG LABTECH CLARIOstar plate reader and accompanying MARS analysis software. Scanning electron micrographs were collected using the TESCAN CLARA scanning electron microscope and accompanying Essence microscope control software for cell morphology assays. Data for microscale thermophoresis assays were collected using the NanoTemper Monolith NT.115 system and accompanying MO.Affinity Analysis software for assessment of compound binding. Further details of data collection are provided within the thesis.
