This volume contributes to the multisensory aspects of luxury, especially how one’s senses influence and impact luxury consumption and luxury experiences, bringing together the different aspects and contexts of luxury, from the rule of emperors and sensory lead banquets to the contemporary lens of luxury that is now dominated by technological advances that stimulate the senses. The chapters capture a range of perspectives, including fashion, food, technology, the metaverse, health and well-being, as well as the continued evolution of luxury through the ages.
