This report summarises the main tenets of theguidelines and offers a critical assessment by highlightinga few internal inconsistencies that make theGuidelines challenging to comprehend for thoseseeking a consistent approach to identifiability asboth, a technical and legal concept. It also highlightsconvergences between the approaches of the EDPBand that of the CJEU when dealing with identifiability,while raising concerns about the position takenby the Advocate General in the case EDPS v SRB.
