Abstract
This session explores the role and significance of Manipuri comics in preserving the cultural heritage and oral histories of the state in the form of potential archives. It further aims to analyse the challenges, current state and future directions of the comic form, while discussing existing scholarship and criticism on Northeast Indian comic culture.
