'VAWT_mesh(Chapter5)', Mesh files of all the simualtion cases used in this PhD research. 'Sim_Data(Chapter5)', Simulation data collected from ANSYS FLUENT 2024 software. -------------------------- METHODOLOGICAL INFORMATION -------------------------- Description of methods used for collection/generation of data: Wind turbine experimental data and simulated data from ANSYS 2024 R2. Methods for processing the data: The data deposited consists of exprimental and simualted data. Experimental Data was collected from wind tunnel experiments from a torque transducer mesuring RPM, torque (mNm) ad timesteps. The simulated data was collected from CFD studies using ANSYS FLUENT 2024. The CFD model uses an overset meshing method. Software- or Instrument-specific information needed to interpret the data, including software and hardware version numbers: ANSYS FLUENT 2024, SolidWorks 2024, FUTEK FSH02053/TRS605, FSH03944/USB520 encoder maximum sampling rate of 4800 samples per second and featuring a 24-bit internal resolution, SENSIT Test and Measurement software (Version 2.6.1.0) Standards and calibration information, if appropriate: Environmental/experimental conditions: Openloop subsonic wind tunnel, wind velocity of 5.61 m/s, turbulence intensity of 3.16%. Describe any quality-assurance procedures performed on the data: Data was collected every 0.001s and repeated 3 times for each case. The data was then averaged from the 3 repeats. People involved with sample collection, processing, analysis and/or submission: Ken-Yeen Lee (33318062)
