Non-collinear SHG with wavefront control
We demonstrate wavefront control of the second-harmonic-generated beam via modulation of the input near-infrared pump beam in a non-collinear geometry. A variable radius of curvature from 50mm to infinity at 515nm is obtained by combining two 1030nm laser beams in periodically-poled lithium niobate (PPLN). This is implemented in a novel near-to-eye display technique demonstrating focus-depth that can address the vergence-accommodation conflict.
