Supporting data for “Perspectives from care to classroom: Non-kinship foster carers’ views on education and Teenagers-in-Care’s lived experiences of academic resilience”
This deposit contains supporting data for the doctoral thesis, Perspectives from care to classroom: Non-kinship foster carers’ views on education and Teenagers-in-Care’s lived experiences of academic resilience. The Chapter 2 dataset contains an Excel file of extracted findings, illustrations, credibility ratings, and related analytic information from the meta-aggregative systematic literature review of non-kinship foster carers’ views and experiences of education. The Chapter 3 dataset contains a combined PDF of six pseudonymised interview transcripts from the IPA study, including a contents page and researcher-generated experiential statements included as comments. Two README files are also included, one for each dataset. The Chapter 2 dataset was generated through a systematic review process, with searches conducted between March and April 2024 and data extraction undertaken between May and September 2024. The Chapter 3 dataset was produced from semi-structured interviews conducted between December 2022 and May 2023. Both deposited files were created in May 2026.
