The nature of inclusive research

The nature of inclusive research
The nature of inclusive research
This guide provides an overview of the nature of inclusive research and how it fits within a broad movement to make research more democratic, inclusive and accessible. The key features of inclusive research methodologies are discussed to show the complex range of options alongside core common principles. Explicit connections are made between why researching inclusively matters, especially to people from marginalised and underrepresented groups and what inclusive researchers actually do, often in collaboration with marginalised and underrepresented groups. The guide ends by highlighting some of the main challenges and criticisms that inclusive researchers face when researching with and for the people the research is about.
