To date, the debate around the Belbin Team Role has focussed more on the validity of constructs than on the issue of the relationships within the team. This article contributes to the debate by looking at managerial teams and by proposing a weighted index for assessing mix issues. It concludes by confirming the link between BTR Index and the Team Achievement measure.
