Embankment and cut slope monitoring and analysis
Embankment and cut slope monitoring and analysis
This presentation describes how we have worked to understand the behaviour of clay slopes (natural/engineered/stabilised) including failure and serviceability problems and the effects of climate and changing climate and vegetation. This involves the design and performance of stabilisation methods, developing models that will predict the behaviour of the slopes. The aim of the work is to inform future design and maintenance and to identify critical actions that may have to be taken
