REGIS: Regional climate change impact and response studies in East Anglia and north west England.
REGIS: Regional climate change impact and response studies in East Anglia and north west England.
The RegIS project is part of the UK Climate Impacts
Programme (UKCIP) and is the first attempt to produce an
integrated snapshot of possible futures for two regions of
the UK - East Anglia and the North West of England.
It takes into account both climate change and socioeconomic
trends. RegIS looks at how these regions might
respond under two contrasting storylines of climate and
socio-economic change. The storylines are an attempt to
evaluate a credible range of possible futures, but are not
predictions of the future.
