TTRB Review: School Improvement through ICT: a guide for primary school teachers
TTRB Review: School Improvement through ICT: a guide for primary school teachers
The reviewed publication, a glossy booklet available as a PDF download, is essentially a catalogue of Becta resources relating to the use of ICT in primary schools. To that extent, it is a useful overview of the issues and opportunities associated with ICT. However, it is also limited because other, equally worthwhile non-Becta, resources are not included thus causing an imbalance in relation to the issues. The resource is of value to primary teachers and school managers. It is also useful for primary phase teacher educators but of less value to trainee teachers.
