An exploration of contemporary approaches to advanced nursing practice education in history taking and physical assessment
This report summarises the findings of a study tour undertaken in February to April 2005, which explored contemporary approaches to advanced nursing practice education in History Taking and Physical Assessment (HPTA). The study tour included visits to 16 different universities in England, Wales, Scotland Republic of Ireland, Canada and the United States. Nineteen classes/assessment sessions were attended, and meetings took place with 50 difference lecturers/members of faculty.
