Le français et l’espagnol, langues des pouvoirs coloniaux durant plusieurs siècles et langues de nombreux peuples et États du monde, font partie d’une dynamique sociale extraordinaire au cours du 20e siècle, due à la mobilisation sociale et à la migration, à l’émergence de la radio, du cinéma, de la télévision et d’internet, sans oublier l’épanouissement de l’école et sa pratique langagière. El presente libro se propone dos objetivos: por un lado, quiere contribuir a la discusión sobre aspectos teóricos del cambio lingüístico con respecto a las lenguas estándar, y, por otro, pretende indagar en la relación entre movilidad social, procesos de selección lingüística así como en la valoración social de formas lingüísticas y su distribución en los espacios de habla francesa y española.
