Das "Ende der Nachkriegszeit" im werk von Anna Mitgutsch
This chapter outlines the how the Austrian writer Anna Mitgutsch, a convert to Judaism, deals with religion in her novels, notably in Abschied von Jerusalem (1995) and Familienfest (2003). It argues that Mitgutsch is one of a group of writers in Austria who, towards the end of the 20th century, again produce 'Jewish' literature by focusing on Jewish themes.
