Readers and authors alike will be pleased to know that the impact factor (IF) of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (OEM) has risen to 2.817 in 2007, from 2.255 in 2006. (The IF is a bibliometric index which measures the citation frequency of articles contained in a journal, standardised according to its number of published, potentially citable articles.)
