The application of agile manufacturing for customer value
This paper presents a strategic framework to enable agile
manufacturing. Agile strategies provide superior customer
value in a changing environment. The literature suggests that
value strategies come about by a responsive (market-based)
or a resource-led process. We introduce six case studies to
illustrate that a negotiated process is also required if firms are
to continuously deliver customer value

Abstract
