Sannine development project environmental management plan: planning phase I
The project included the development of a workplan for an EIA for the Sannine development project. The development project spans over an area of 96 Km2 stretching over the western and eastern slopes of Mount Sannine at an altitude that varies between 1,400 m and 2,600 m above sea level. The workplan included the results of preliminary surveys conducted in the study area aiming at characterizing baseline environmental conditions of the site. In addition, detailed methodologies for sitespecific impact assessment were developed along with a preliminary environmental management plan (including mitigation, monitoring, and institutional strengthening)
