Optimum receivers with fiber gratings

Optimum receivers with fiber gratings
Optimum receivers with fiber gratings
We demonstrate optical matched filter receivers using fibre gratings to provide optimum signal-to-noise ratio in optically amplified systems. Additionally, we show that a grating provides minimum crosstalk between neighbouring pulses, thus not contributing intersymbol interference.
