Properties of lightly doped Rh:BaTiO3 crystals processed in different conditions
We have compared the photorefractive properties of 400 ppm Rh:BaTiO3 crystals, processed in different conditions, and earlier samples of blue Rh:BaTiO3. High coupling efficiency in the near-infrared (6.8 cm) has been achieved despite negligible absorption and vanishingly small concentrations of rhodium found in the crystals

Abstract

We have compared the photorefractive properties of 400 ppm Rh:BaTiO3 crystals, processed in different conditions, and earlier samples of blue Rh:BaTiO3. High coupling efficiency in the near-infrared (6.8 cm) has been achieved despite negligible absorption and vanishingly small concentrations of rhodium found in the crystals
