Very low threshold operation of a singly-resonant PPLN picosecond optical parametric oscillator
Very low threshold operation (7.5mW) is achieved for singly-resonant, synchronously-pumped parametric oscillation in periodically-poled lithium niobate via an optimised crystal length and reduced cavity loss.
