We report efficient operation of a Ho:YAG laser at 2.1µm intracavity-pumped by a Tm:YAG laser pumped by a 20W diode-bar. An output power of up to 2.1W has been obtained for 9.2W of incident pump power.

Abstract

We report efficient operation of a Ho:YAG laser at 2.1µm intracavity-pumped by a Tm:YAG laser pumped by a 20W diode-bar. An output power of up to 2.1W has been obtained for 9.2W of incident pump power.
