Continuous wave mode-locked singly resonant optical parametric oscillator synchronously pumped by a laser diode pumped Nd:YLF laser
Continuous wave mode-locked singly resonant optical parametric oscillation in KTP is described. The synchronous pump source is a frequency doubled, passively mode-locked laser-diode-pumped Nd:YLF laser. A threshold average power of 61mW is achieved, and picosecond pulses tunable over a range of 94nm about a wavelength of ~ 1μm are demonstrated.
