10Gbit/s transmission over 700km of standard single mode fibre with 10cm chirped fibre grating compensator and duobinary transmitter
Using a 10-cm chirped fiber Bragg grating and a reduced bandwidth phase-alternating duobinary transmitter, 10 Gb/s transmission to distances of 700 km of standard single-mode fiber is demonstrated.
