Abstract

Details of a 20-stripe, 1-W diode-laser array coupled to a photorefractive self-pumped phase-conjugate mirror in a self-injection-locking geometry are discussed. Single-lobe emission is observed, with 758 of the array output in an ~2.2 times diffraction-limited beam, for array output powers of as much as 450 mW.
