Foundation Studies for Nursing: Using Enquiry-Based Learning
Problem-Based Learning or Enquiry-Based Nursing are now a government requirement of the ‘Making a Difference’ nursing syllabus. This approach to learning uses real patient experiences to learn about how to think about nursing and how to approach challenging situations. A professional nurse needs to be able to seek out the answers and provide the best possible care. This book aims to develop the necessary skills to access the relevant information. Each clearly set out chapter is based on a real-life scenario covering an area topic and has the expected learning outcomes listed. Throughout there are learning prompts with activities, questions and answers. Each chapter comes with a set of concepts for the student to review and maybe add to.
