Multi-objective optimization using grammatical evolution
Multi-objective optimization using grammatical evolution
Grammatical Evolution is a multidisciplinary tool for evolvoing grammar sentences. A Grammar formalism to generate optimization variables using Grammatical Evolution is presented. The use of this formalism in single and multi objective parametric opimization is demonstrated. Multi-objective grammatical evolution is achieved by replacing the Genetic Algorithm with the Non-dominated Genetic Algorithm II method. Optimization results with some non-trivial single and multi-objective test functions are presented.
