This book reports on a project that investigated the use of geometrical approaches to the teaching of functions and calculus in mathematics. The aim was to devise and test a teaching programme for high school students based on the needs, knowledge and experiences of a range of countries within the European Union. The teaching approaches devised exploited the use of dynamic computer software (usually called "dynamic geometry").
