In this judgment the EU General Court (GC) confirmed the previous decisions of, respectively, the EUIPO Cancellation Division and the First Board of Appeal, and held that the figurative EU trade mark ‘La Mafia se sienta a la mesa’ (‘La Mafia takes a seat at the table’) should be declared invalid on public policy grounds under Article 7(1)(f) of Regulation 2017/1001 (EUTMR).
