Laser performance of a PLD-grown Yb:LuAG double-clad planar waveguide
End-pumped by a diode-laser bar, we demonstrate the first crystalline double-clad Yb:LuAG planar waveguide laser. An output power of 3.3 W was obtained at 1030.7nm with a 20 % slope efficiency.
