オープンなフローチャート証明をすることの効果と限界
In a study of open flow-chart proving, we report possible effects and limitations by examining, from a theoretical perspective, the features of this approach such as visualising proof structures and promoting the construction of different proofs. We conclude that the use of open flow-chart proving can contribute to a) helping students develop their holistic level of understanding, b) thinking forwards and backwards between premises and conclusions, and c) understanding networks between premises, intermediate steps, and conclusions. Limitations can be that flow-chart proving restricts students into thinking that the congruence conditions, for example, should be used in any proofs in geometry, and the transition from flow-chart proving to closed written proofs might be challenging.
