This dataset contains reflectivity and resonance Raman spectroscopy data obtained on hBN encapsulated monolayers and heterostructures of MoSe2 and WSe2 at 4 K. This data underpins the paper with preliminary title: "Excited Rydberg States in TMD Heterostructures". For full details of the results and experimental conditions pleaser refer to the paper and associated supplementary information. The dataset is available under a CC-BY 4.0 licence
