Dataset supporting University of Southampton PhD Thesis “Development of an organ on chip microfluidic platform with real-time viability sensing capabilities”
Dataset used in PhD thesis manuscript “Development of an organ on chip microfluidic platform with real-time viability sensing capabilities” by J Cabaco Fernandes.
This data set includes excel files, text files, original Graph files and images related to data collected for Chapter 3, in which the electrical circuit model was tested with conductivity measurements and cell growth data, Chapter 4, which related to cell growth of Caco-2 or 16HBE14o- cells in the platform, and Chapter 5, in which a droplet generator platform was fabricated to assess analyte production over time.
The data was collected using a bespoke impedance analyser (Joel Bowring) alongside a script to covert the impedance data into a comparable ohms.cm2 format, a voltammeter and a confocal microscope.
This dataset contains:
The corresponding data sets (excel, OPJ, txt) and images for the following figures and tables in Chapter 3: Table 3.1 and 3.2; Figure 3.14; 3.16 to 3.19.
The corresponding data sets (excel, OPJ, txt) and images for the following figures in Chapter 4: Figure 4.9 to 4.13.
The corresponding data sets (excel, OPJ, txt) and images for the following figures in Chapter 5: Figure 5.8; 5.10; 5.12; 5.13 to 5.16.
