This dataset is supporting the Southampton doctoral thesis 'The role of extracellular vesicle miRNA released in response to influenza A virus'. in this dataset there is a miRNA_hsa_counts.raw.txt which shows the data reflecting the extracellular vesicles that were isolated from BCi either uninfected (n=5) or IAV infected at 3,600,000 IU/ml for 24 hours (n=5). EVs were isolated by filtration and size exclusion chromatography from the apical surface wash of air-liquid interface differentiated BCi. The EV miRNA profile was then sequenced, and reads were mapped to miRBase.
