This dataset contains: Data underpinning the tables and figures in the thesis Tab 1 – GC Losses These tables provide the data used to calculate the grating coupler losses for Table 7.1 in the thesis. Loss of the grating coupler is calculated as. Loss = 10*Log(Power_In/Power_Out) Tab 2 – GC Losses 3.8um These tables have the data used to calculate the GC losses at 3.8um for Fig 3.8 Tab 3 – 2um Prop Loss These tables have the data used to calculate the propagation loss of the waveguides using 2um light. Seen in figure 7.4 Tab 4 – 3.8um Prop Loss These tables have the data used to calculate the propagation loss of the waveguides using 3.8um light.
