Dataset supporting an article "Amplified O-band WDM Transmission using a Bi-doped Fibre Amplifier"
This dataset supports: N. Taengnoi et al., "Amplified O-Band WDM Transmission Using a Bi-Doped Fibre Amplifier," 2018 European Conference on Optical Communication (ECOC), Rome, Italy, 2018, pp. 1-3, doi: 10.1109/ECOC.2018.8535369. The data demonstrate WDM transmission on both a coarse and dense spacing over 100km and 120km of SMF-28e, respectively, using mid-span amplification with a Bismuth-doped fibre amplifier exhibiting 7THz (42nm) of gain bandwidth. Negligible power penalties were observed for all signals. The data for each figure is contained within a directory of the same name in Excel files. Data files are named after the Figure they correspond to and contain the data necessary to recreate the plots. The data is accessible under CC BY license
