The dataset includes the test results of participants performing tests on MATLAB software and response scores on questionnaires.
Pilot, Experiment 1.A, Experiment 1.B, Experiment 2, Experiment 4: Participants performed a speech recognition test on MATLAB, the results were automatically recorded in the software, and copied in Excel.
Experiment 3, Experiment 4: Participants were asked to fill and electronic form (Google form) of the questionnaire. The data was recorded automatically and copied to Excel.
This dataset contains:
The dataset Excel document contains six sheets, each sheet contains the dataset of an experiment
1- Pilot study
2- Experiment 1.A: Assessment of the homogeneity of the words in the PAAST SiQ using the method of constant stimuli (MoCS)
3- Experiment 1.B: Equalising the intelligibility of the speech stimuli of the Paediatric Arabic Auditory Speech Test (PAAST) using Interleaved Adaptive Procedure
4- Experiment 2: Measuring the effect of OME- related simulated conductive hearing loss on the PAAST SiQ
5- Experiment 3: Developing an Arabic quality- of-life questionnaire (AOM6) for children with Otitis media
6- Experiment 4: Measuring speech recognition and QoL using the PAAST SiQ and Arabic OM6, respectively, in Arabic children with OME
