Dataset supporting the University of Southampton PhD thesis "Enhancing the efficacy of NovaMin® for Dentine hypersensitivity through particle size reduction and enhanced microbranch tubule mapping".
The data includes zipped folders that reflect chapters 4, 5 and 6.
This dataset contains:
- Chapter 4: TIFF image stacks of Serial Block Face Scanning Electron Microscopy images. Excel spreadsheets of different quantitative values taken from each image stack for comparison between images.
- Chapter 5: A macro openable in Image J for the identification of features on multiple windows for extraction and saving. A spreadsheet containing quantitative data for this chapter.
- Chapter 6: Raw data files (.txt and .csv) of X-Ray diffraction, Glancing Angle X-Ray diffraction and Nanoindentation data, as well as spreadsheets where this data is compiled, displayed graphically, and processed.

Due to commercial sensitivity, this data is embargoed until 12/2026, thereafter it is available under CC BY license.
