Adherence to prescribed liquid oral antimicrobials in children
Adherence to prescribed liquid oral antimicrobials in children
Dataset supporting thesis entitled 'Investigating mid-infrared absorption spectroscopy as a method for improving dosing and adherence in paediatric pharmacotherapy'. Data from an observational, parent-reported questionnaire undertaken from parents of children <18 years of age prescribed liquid oral antimicrobials. Participants were recruited from the Children’s ED and paediatric wards of UHS and 5 GP sites across the south coast of England. The questionnaire was completed by telephone call at 10-14 days post prescription. The questionnaire covered: patient age, location of prescription, an estimate of total adherence, reasons for non-adherence, parent reported recovery times and healthcare utilisation.
