Gene-environment interactions in the regulation of obesity and metabolic disorders
Gene-environment interactions in the regulation of obesity and metabolic disorders
The dataset consists of an experimental inventory of genetically modified and wild-type mouse cohorts maintained under different environmental conditions. It includes metadata on animal grouping, sex, sample storage identifiers, tissue collection, metabolic phenotyping, behavioural testing, histological analyses, and sequencing availability. Biological samples collected include cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, adipose, muscular, and neural tissues. Physiological measurements include body weight, food intake, energy expenditure, glucose metabolism, and blood pressure. The dataset serves as a comprehensive metadata framework supporting downstream molecular, metabolic, and histopathological analyses.

Abstract

The dataset consists of an experimental inventory of genetically modified and wild-type mouse cohorts maintained under different environmental conditions. It includes metadata on animal grouping, sex, sample storage identifiers, tissue collection, metabolic phenotyping, behavioural testing, histological analyses, and sequencing availability. Biological samples collected include cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, adipose, muscular, and neural tissues. Physiological measurements include body weight, food intake, energy expenditure, glucose metabolism, and blood pressure. The dataset serves as a comprehensive metadata framework supporting downstream molecular, metabolic, and histopathological analyses.
